I received Physical Therapy degree in 2004 back in the Philippines. Right after graduation, I worked as a part-time Physical Therapist in the Veterans Orthopedic Center in the Philippines while preparing for my licensure exam. After passing my licensure exam, I became a full-time Physical Therapy and an intern supervisor in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Center in the Philippines.
After working 2 years in the Philippines, I moved out of the country. I worked and attended special trainings in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Germany, London, United States. I specialize in neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions, sports rehabilitation, and spinal injuries. Throughout my career (14 years in total), I worked with professional football players and non-professional athletes, regular work-related injuries, a lot of post op orthopedic cases, post-op spinal surgery, UAE national team in preparation for the 2016 Olympics, Marathon runners, neurological conditions acute and chronic, and pediatric rehabilitation. Currently in the process to complete my DPT degree.
I participated in both 10K races and 42.195km Marathons. I love sports, outdoor activities and adventures, exploring and getting out of my comfort zone, learning new things to continuously improve myself.
Taking care of people and seeing them getting better gives me a rewarding feeling. I love my job and I can always say “I chose the right profession because I really enjoy it.
