Dan graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He went on to work in the health and wellness professions as a physical therapy technician and personal trainer before continuing his education at New York University, where he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Dan has clinical experience working with sports, orthopedic, pediatric, and geriatric populations. While attending NYU he obtained his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification, became certified in kinesiology taping, and also studied abroad in China, studying Chinese health beliefs and their medical system as a whole. Dan utilizes a combination of hands on manual techniques and therapeutic exercises during treatments, and encourages patients to participate in goal setting and treatments as much as possible so that they can best achieve their desired outcomes.
Dan is originally from Reading, Pennsylvania, where he grew up playing football, basketball, and track and field. His interests currently include hiking, kayaking, basketball, football, and soccer. He has also recently caught the travel bug and enjoys exploring new cities, states, and countries with his fiancé and dachshund.
