Testimonials from Our Patients
I have known my P.T for over 25 years. Sadly, I have the ravaged, broken, but happily rehabilitated body to prove my association with Joel and RPT.
Through countless surgery recoveries, emotional and physical challenges, Joel has been there to lift me up, and: literally straighten me out. After two knee surgeries, a broken leg, an ankle loaded with rods and screws, two back surgeries and assorted shoulder injuries, I am still able to ski with the family. All this I specifically attribute to the talent and care and genuine concern I received from RPT. They represent what true healthcare and well being is about.
I remain grateful and more importantly healthier for having had the positive experience of knowing and being treated at RPT.
Russell Hartophilis is my "hero" and I am so thankful that he is my physical therapist. At our very first meeting Russell expertly pinpointed the cause of the osteoarthritis in my right knee and the pain in my right leg -- something two orthopedists had missed. I am forever grateful to Russell for teaching me how to stand up straight, walk properly, work out safely, and get back to feeling like a "young" person.
In addition to being a terrific therapist, Russell is also a very caring compassionate, empathetic person who is easy to talk to and fun to work with. he has taught me that recovery is not always a straight line and that setbacks are to be expected. His explanations of why I'm feeling pain in a particular place are always helpful (and often fascinating). Although I am generally self-motivated, Russell encourages me to do more than I ever thought I could do.
Abby’s success comes from an uncanny knowledge. I feel as though she is entirely familiar with my body and really knows why my problems have happened. The cause of pain usually is caused by a combination of many causes including years of “improper use” of our bodies and their parts. It is not as simple as believing that one thing is the entire cause of pain. It is a culmination of habits and years. I have seen Abby’s notes on my condition and realize how vital she really is to my improvement.
RPT did an amazing job treating my RC tendonitis. My physical therapist understood my particular goal, which was to get back out on the rugby pitch ASAP. He treated me like an athlete and not an 80 year old with back pain. He listened to me, gave me feedback, and fashioned my treatment accordingly. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.
I am upright because of RPT! I've been in PT for 25 years and the staff at RPT have helped me with my shoulders, knees, back and wrist. Because of their high standards and compassionate care, I'm now back on the bicycle -- at the age of 81! The PTs never let me forget my goals, and kept encouraging me. I knew they would never give up on me -- even when I had a lot of hard work to do. In addition to the high quality of care I received, they have also become an extended family for me. I wouldn't be where I am today without them.
I wish I could stay in PT forever! I've been treated at RPT for my wrist, elbow, shoulder and knee. Each time, the therapists really went 'above and beyond' and their treatment helped me get in the best shape of my life. They are instantly helpful, point me in the right direction and never hesitate to give guidance or advice. Even when I was discouraged, with my therapists' persistence, encouragement, and guidance I was able to return to sports, which are a big part of my life. You finish PT as a whole new person.
To Whom it May Concern:
Just wanted to add that Sabrina was absolutely wonderful to deal with. Honestly, she saved Thanksgiving for me- I was in such terrible pain and discomfort the day before the holiday and she worked on me (she must have been exhausted after) to the point that I could prepare and do the holiday.
Sabrina was the most professional and friendly person to work with- I had appointments with her twice a week for two months and we never started late, I was never late back to work and she just really knows her stuff but she also just knew how to make the experience positive. She explained the medical information in a way that made sense and I could really understand.
I am following the information she gave me and I am glad to say that I am fairly pain free these days and continue to watch my activities so as not to aggravate things back out of order. My back may never feel like it did before this issue arose but I can at least function.
If you could pass this along to Sabrina's boss it would be appreciated.
